When are you going to write more Supernatural fic?

I'm probably not. Partly because I'm feeling a little lukewarm about the series lately, mostly because Supernatural fandom has gone batshit insane in the bad way and I want not a goddamn thing to do with it.

Just--look, fandom:

1. If you're going to yell and scream because there aren't enough strong female characters on the show, don't bitch and moan when one shows up (i.e. Bela, Ruby). And don't be surprised if you squee and flail all over Castiel but can't get through a sentence without wishing horrible death on Ruby and the response you get runs along the lines of "lol hypocrisy." I've said before that if Bela or Ruby had been hot and male, nobody would have had a problem with them. Thank you, Castiel, for being a good Exhibit A.

2. "She had sex with Dean" (i.e. Cassie, Anna) or "she is hot for Dean" (i.e. Jo) is really not a good sole reason to hate a character to the point of writing loads of fic in which that character dies horribly. People, really, there are much better reasons to hate Jo. Exhibit A: pretty much the entirety of "No Exit."

3. If you're going to whine because you hate the female characters on the show, don't expect to be taken seriously when you start the "OMG DEAN SED 'BITCH," HE IZ MISOGYNIST" shit.

...tl;dr: I still enjoy the show, but I have washed my hands of the fandom.
