The Hellawack Shiznit that happens inside my brizzle

I love suprnova. It gives me dead TV shows.

Man, I missed Millennium. …shut up, I liked it. The first season-and-a-half or so, anyway.

Siren: BLAAAARGH

You know what? There’s “difficult,” and then there’s “fucking ridiculous.”

The final boss battle in Disgaea? Difficult.

Trying to get through the first real mission in Siren for six hours? Fucking ridiculous.

Strike 1: The fucking sniper Shibito. Which you can learn to avoid fairly decently, but.
Strike 2: Shooting Shibito does not kill them–ten seconds later, they’re up and stalking you again.
Strike 3: Being stuck in levels where you can’t see shit, even with the flashlight on (which of course attracts the fucking Shibito) and brightness turned all the way up…and the in-game map not giving you so much as a “you are here” marker.

The combination of all these just pisses me off.

A game should be challenging, yes. A game should also be fun. That’s kind of the whole point of playing a game, last time I checked. And when it stacks this many handicaps up on you, it ceases to be fun and steps boldly into the land of Infuriating.

Hell, the last hour or so, I even threw up my hands and tried the Gameshark. Which kept my character from dying just fine. It did not do the same for the brainless twit the game wanted me to drag around with me. That’s when I had to say “fuck a bunch of this” and fire up Disgaea.

Summary: Save your goddamn forty bucks for something else. I should have rented it first. I’m taking it to Gamestop tomorrow and trading it in.

I wasn’t going to get Siren until I finished Disgaea.

Whoops.
