Stupid enough to steal a fully-decorated art car, apparently.

And okay, as art cars go that one was kind of subdued but seriously, what kind of idiot walks into a parking lot, passes up a whole bunch of perfectly nondescript cars, and goes “WOOHOO I’M GONNA STEAL THIS ONE THAT IS EASILY IDENTIFIABLE BECAUSE OF ALL THE STUFF ALL OVER IT, IT IS PROBABLY SAFE TO SAY EVERYONE NEARBY KNOWS WHOSE CAR IT IS AND ON TOP OF THAT THE ART CAR COMMUNITY IN HOUSTON AND EVERYONE WHO ENJOYS THE ART CAR PARADE WILL BE WATCHING OUT FOR THIS CAR WHEN WORD GETS OUT THAT IT HAS BEEN STOLEN, I CANNOT SEE HOW THIS CUNNING PLAN COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG :D”

So being newly addicted to Zumba I was bopping around Amazon looking at the various DVDs and… well, take a look at this cap (click to embiggen) and guess where I went like this.

Go on, guess. And yes, I clicked  “no” with relish when asked if I found that review helpful, and also reported the shit out of it.

protip: saying “I’m not a racist but I hate them illegalz and I boycott Mexican restaurants and I’m glad there are white people in a workout video” is a lot like saying “I’m not a duck but I have a bill and feathers and webbed feet and I swim and I live in a park and eat bread crumbs.”

Us Ghostbusters spent today hanging out with sick kids at Texas Children’s Hospital. A little boy came up to get his picture taken with us and his mom gently prompted him to tell us his good news, which was that his bone marrow had started working again and I know at least two of us (myself included) almost lost it right there. That was the first child we talked to.

And now I come home and see this. How the fucking fuckety fuck can a grown-ass person do this to a dying child? I don’t get it. The boat left and I was not on the boat. I don’t have the capacity to understand this. I can’t even. I just don’t.

Well, this is odd.

A number of posts on my LiveJournal, from December 2007 to June 2008, except for friendslocked ones, have vanished. They’re still here on the blog, at least. Compare and contrast:

And yeah, the crossposter was working, those posts were getting shuttled over to the LJ, because if you’ll notice one of the blog posts contains a link to its LJ counterpart because relevant new info came up in comments.

I don’t know what to think about this. I think it is entirely possible that one of the crossposter plugins I use over here did something weird. I think it is also entirely possible that something just went goofy at LJ’s end and demon-Frank ate my posts. I also think it is hell of fishy that only posts in that timeframe were affected. And I know for sure that I didn’t delete them off the LJ and leave them here. And there really wasn’t even enough criticism of LJ going on in that timeframe (and what there was was pretty mild) to even suggest that OMG LJ STAFF IZ CENSORING MEEEE CALL TEH BBB AND ACLU. I’ll just chalk it up to random WTFery and leave it there.

So, uh… good thing I crosspost from a blog, I guess?

Although I have not yet put anything up for sale there, nor have I actually bought anything, I can’t stop poking it. Last night I spent three hours absofuckinglutely fascinated by shops peddling supplies to make miniature fake food. I am amazed by the variety of people selling really sweet shit.

…and then there are people selling espresso cups with merkins on.

I do not think it means what he thinks it means.

I’m pretty sure it doesn’t mean “I’ll text you all day but the first time since June I see you, I’ll walk right past you without saying hello or even looking at you to greet another friend, and then when I finally notice you I will grumble a ‘hi,’ proceed to otherwise ignore you all day, and then leave while you’re in the restroom.”

I’m just a little upset about this right now. Yeah, you’d think by now I’d know what a guy actually means when he says “let’s stay friends, ok?” but I thought maybe this one actually meant it.
