I am absurdly pleased with the male Mannequin, both how it looks and how little postwork is required to make it look like that. Here’s what it looks like almost straight out of Poser, with just the modicum of cloning and patching necessary to smooth out the places where the two figures that make it up meet (click to embiggen):

I’ma have to make a wallpaper out of it, I think.

Loads of time off + finding a comic-specific CMS to make life easier + playing a certain Wii game at great length during said time off = oh my God could it be? Could it really fucking be?

As a combination reward for finishing Gateway to 8K and Christmas present to myself, I went and got Silent Hill: Shattered Memories today.

I had to put it down for the evening after only about two hours, not because I don’t like it, but because I had to put it the fuck down because I did not think I could deal with another bit like the part I had just finished tonight.

Nintendo, please don’t pull a Fatal Frame 4 with this, you at least owe us some fucking Silent Hill to make up for that.

The radio static? Will supposedly come out of the Wiimote. That alone is USDA Prime Brickshitting Material, right there.
