One thing the Rabbids Channel has that the Check Mii Out Channel needs?

The ability to show your shit off on the Web.

The current Expo theme is “Geeks” and there was some internal debate about whether to submit the Colbert Rabbid or this.

BWAAAAAAAH

I did my first 10K race yesterday–in costume–and did not die. Sadly, I lost the movie division of the costume contest to a pair of Oompa Loompas.

Because I did not die, I thought a reward of some sort was in order. So I finally got Rabbids Go Home. This is a stupid, stupid game, but it’s stupid in the good way. For about the entire first half-hour or so I played, I did not stop laughing at the Rabbids and their perpetual “HURRR” faces and the fact that they attack people by yelling “BWAAAAH” at them and knocking their clothes off and at the occasional FMV break when you pick up a thing and the Rabbids play with it for a bit before the game resumes. The basset hound is my favorite of these.

I’m having way too much fun painting clothes on Rabbids, putting silly things on their heads, rearranging their faces by slapping them around with a big foam glove, and slamming them around inside the Wiimote. Also there’s the Rabbids Channel, which is sort of like the Check Mii Out Channel except with Rabbids.

Saw this on the Nintendo Channel this morning. Needless to say, I came.

What’s that? Another survival horror game for the Wii that’s not a Resident Evil remake or spinoff? And which looks sort of like some terrible beautiful unholy child of Ju-On and Fatal Frame, going by the trailers I’ve seen? Oh God yes please.

Dear immune system:

I am grateful for your nearly flawless service over the past few years.

And while I understand that everyone needs a break now and then, I must ask that next time, you not take yours right in the middle of my Christmas break. Seriously, what the fuck is this shit, I get sick maybe once a year and this time it has to be when I’m on vacation.

Also, my never-used but old-enough-that-I’ve-gotten-rid-of-the-box-and-receipt hot pot has a crack in the bottom of it.

At least I have games to keep me occupied. Thanks to some of my cousins, I am hooked on Guitar Hero and finally broke down and got a Wiitar and World Tour over the weekend.

As a combination reward for finishing Gateway to 8K and Christmas present to myself, I went and got Silent Hill: Shattered Memories today.

fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuck

I had to put it down for the evening after only about two hours, not because I don’t like it, but because I had to put it the fuck down because I did not think I could deal with another bit like the part I had just finished tonight.
